Subtlety is not the assignment.

Hot Pink is the loudest thing in the line before you even switch it on — and then the white LED panel comes on and it stops being a bag and starts being a light source. White is the brightest read of the four colorways in a dark room, so the pink shell stays the colour and the light does the finding. Three modes (solid, blink, rapid blink), 18+ hours on one set of AAA batteries, so it's still going when the sun comes up. Underneath the colour it's a serious 2L hydration pack: leak-proof bladder, water-resistant zippers, a hidden anti-theft pocket flat against your back for your phone and ID, and adjustable straps with a chest strap to keep it steady.

Why you'll love it

  • Nobody loses you. Loud pink in daylight, bright white light after dark — findable either way.
  • It lasts the whole night. 18+ hours per set of 3 AAA batteries, and they're removable so spares are easy.
  • It stays put. Adjustable shoulder straps plus a chest strap, so it doesn't bounce while you're dancing.
  • Your phone doesn't get stolen. The anti-theft pocket sits against your back, out of reach.
  • 2 litres of water. 500ml more than the mini line — fewer refill trips on a hot day.

Will it get into your festival?

Maximum bag size is set per event and published by the festival, so check yours before you travel rather than trusting a general rule. The measurement you'll need: this pack is 15 in (H) x 7 in (W) x 4 in (D).

Our Coachella bag policy guide works through one event's rules in full, and rave vs hiking hydration packs explains why some festivals limit compartment count rather than size.

Taking it to Burning Man?

Black Rock City has no bag policy and no pocket limit, and the official Survival Guide lists “lights for your bike and your person” as required kit — so an LED pack does a job there that a plain pack doesn't. Read the Burning Man hydration guide before you go.

Frequently asked questions

Does it have a chest strap?

Yes. All four LED colorways have a chest strap across the front in addition to the adjustable shoulder straps, which keeps the pack from shifting while you're moving. Note that the Drippy mini packs do not have one — they're shoulder straps only.

What colour do the LEDs glow?

White — the pink is the shell, not the light. Worth being clear on how this works, because it's the thing people most often get wrong: the colour is fixed and cannot be changed on demand. The three modes change the flash pattern — solid, blink, rapid blink — not the colour. Each colorway ships with its own LED colour: Hot Pink is white, Silver is blue, Midnight Black is red, and Clear Sparkles uses a multi-coloured strip that shows several colours at once. None of them have a colour-select button.

How long do the LEDs last?

18+ hours on a single set of 3 AAA batteries — a full festival night with plenty of margin. The batteries are removable rather than sealed in, so for a multi-day run you can carry a spare set and swap them in about ten seconds.

Does it come with batteries?

No. It takes 3 AAA batteries and they aren't included. Standard alkaline AAAs are fine, and rechargeables work too.

How much water does it hold?

2 litres, about 68 oz — 500ml more than the mini line. How much you actually need across a day depends on heat, effort and what else you're drinking; more in how much water you need at a festival.

Can I wear it in the rain?

The shell is TPU-protected, the zippers are water-resistant, and the battery pack sits inside a water-resistant pocket rather than exposed. It's built for rain and spilled drinks, not for submerging. We haven't published a formal water-resistance rating because we'd rather test it properly than quote a number we can't stand behind.

How do I clean the hydration bladder?

Pull the bladder out, hand-wash it with warm water and mild soap, then hang it open until it's completely dry before storing. Never a dishwasher or washing machine. The pack is spot-clean only. Full method in how to clean a hydration bladder.

What size person does it fit?

The shoulder straps are fully adjustable and there's a chest strap to fine-tune the fit, so it works across a wide range of body types and layers over a jacket. We haven't published a specific chest-size range yet — we'd rather measure it than estimate.
